  1. What kind of service do you supply?

  2. We offer a personal and customised service to each of our clients. Whether catering to a wedding, corporate or private party each client will have ideas and concerns regarding their event. This is why we like to meet up with you first.

  3. What kind of music do you play?

  4. A professional DJ will play the type of music that you require, and not their own taste.  We play 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the latest chart sounds.  Funky Lounge, Rockabilly, Old Skool, and House are no problem either. We can also provide specialist music for a themed event. If you have that special song that you can’t track down, we will do our best to  make it available for your event, given adequate notice.

  5. Band or DJ?

  6. Look, we love music, especially live music, but if you are on a budget this is one area you can cut back on.

  7. -You will always get your first dance song played exactly as you wish.

  8. -It’s more versatile to use a DJ. A good DJ will play music according to the night’s requirements and can quickly change the genre and tempo if needed. They are not tied to a play list or songs that they have rehearsed.

  9. -We can easily play requests from your guests, subject to your agreement, and have a greater choice of music tracks.

  10. -We can easily make announcements and interact with your guests if needed.

  1. Why not use an Ipod with preloaded tracks?

  2. To use an Ipod instead of a DJ is not understanding what we do. A good DJ will read the crowd and change the music accordingly. There will be no interuptions between one song and another, mixing the tracks seamlessly into one another, something an Ipod does not do. We also supply professional audio equipment and lighting, both which are not supplied with an ipod. Ipod’s do not make announcements at key moments and can break down.  Quality is not expensive, its priceless.

  3. I can get a cheaper DJ

  4. We do not try to be the cheapest, but we do provide you with a great service at a fair price. Not all DJ’s have insurance and tested equipment, and back up services in case of emergency. You will get the same DJ as you meet at the initial consultation, and can be sure that we will do everything possible to make your event special and memorable for you. We know how to get people on the floor to dance, and also how to keep them there, whatever the crowd.

  5. Will you play requests during the night?

  6. We love it when your guests request music, and we try and play as many as possible as long as they are appropriate. Having a play list is great, but there should always be room for spontaneity during the night.

  7. Can we get references?

  8. By all means, we would love you to contact previous clients.  Email or call us for details.

  9. How will your DJ turn up?

  10. We are always at the venue at least one hour before the event booking to ensure that any problems can be sorted out. Unless previously requested otherwise, our DJ will be dressed smart casual.
